Scheme description
Oldham's plans focus on the Chadderton North and Westwood area where rat-running has previously been identified as an issue for residents.
Residents have been asked to feedback what they like about their area, but also how it could be made better - and whether they would like to stop through traffic using their streets as a short-cut. The findings from the surveys will be analysed and categorised to help inform the final Active Neighbourhood design.
This scheme is part of a GM-wide project to deliver an Active Neighbourhood in every borough, overseen by TfGM, Arup and Sustrans.
