Scheme description
This is a Streets for All town centre improvement scheme to increase the proportion of local walking and cycling journeys into Royton Town Centre. This will include a number of improvements to the town centre environment, two crossing upgrades, a wider footway and a contraflow cycle lane.
The plans aim to reduce severance impact of the A671 Rochdale Road, which is a Streets for All pilot route.
