Active Travel Roadshows
Our Active Travel Roadshow events showcase and celebrate Active Travel across Greater Manchester. With a variety of fun, informative and engaging stalls from TfGM and other organisations, the roadshows support more people to walk, wheel or cycle in their local area.

Thursday 28 May 2026: Springtime guided walks for all
Lace up your walking boots and join a free guided tour of Queen’s Park, Bolton to celebrate Greater Manchester Walking Festival in May. A fun day out for adults and children alike, discover things you never knew about where you live.
Choose a nature walk suitable for younger children, or a nature walk for all ages – they’re accessible and a great way to get active and spend time outdoors.
Tours will start from the Pavilion Café in Queen’s Park, Bolton at 10am, 11:30am and 1pm, and last roughly 45-60 minutes.
Our event hub outside the Pavilion Café is a great place to check out active travel offerings available from us and our partners, join in with activities, or just meet and have a chat! Everyone is welcome.
