A Cycle Hub is a safe and secure place to lock your bike under cover, away from potential thieves.

Protected by CCTV and a swipe-card entry systems, there are Cycle Hubs near public transport links and other convenient places across Greater Manchester.

How to use Cycle Hubs

The first step is to register and purchase a cycle hub membership. There are a number of memberships you can choose from to suit your Cycle Hub needs.

Regional membership

  • Park your bike securely on a first come, first served basis.

  • Available to use at all the hubs except MediaCityUK and City Tower.

  • Costs £10 a year.

Standard membership at City Tower or MediaCityUK

  • Park your bike securely on a first come, first served basis.

  • Available to use at either MediaCityUK or City Tower (plus access to all other hubs)

  • Costs £10 per month or £100 per year.

Premium membership at City Tower or MediaCityUK:

In addition to the above, if you wish to use the showers and lockers at Media City or City Tower, it costs £20 a month or £200 per year.

Pay-as-you-go at City Tower

  • Park your bike securely on a first come, first served basis at City Tower in Manchester City Centre.

  • A pay-as-you-go option is charged at £10 for 10 visits (call 0161 244 1000 to purchase).

Cancelling your membership

If you cancel your membership, we will refund unused whole months of membership where the annual membership cost is greater than £10.

To cancel your membership, return your card to: Travel Concessions, TfGM, PO Box 429, M60 1HX.

Problems with your card

If your card is lost, damaged or stolen, there is a £10 administration fee for a replacement.

Please contact us on 0161 244 1000 where payment can be made using a debit or credit card.

Lines are open Monday to Friday (7am to 8pm), and Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays (8am to 8pm).
