Scheme description

Busy roads can sever communities and make people feel they have no choice but to drive, even on short trips.

We plan to deliver seven new walking and cycling crossing facilities in the East Ward area of Bury as part of the GM-wide Bee Network Crossings scheme. They will make it easier for local residents to walk and cycle by strategically placing crossings across busy roads.

The crossings will also make it easier to access the Bee Network.
