Scheme description
This scheme has upgraded crossings and enhanced walking and cycling routes in the Chadderton area of Oldham to improve safety and enable a greater proportion of local trips, especially to schools and public transport links, to be made by active modes.
The route now provides a safe and direct route all the way to Broadway and Lydia Becker Way (15 minute walk), and Foxdenton Park beyond (10 minute cycle).
