Scheme description

Restoration of the Park Bridge viaduct route for pedestrians and cyclists on NCN 626 to create a flat, easily navigable, direct route between Oldham and Ashton, plus a new Bee Network crossing point on Kings Road.

This scheme will encourage a change in the way people travel, moving some of the 22,500 daily car trips on the A627 and the 16,900 of the B6194 to NCN 626 cycling or walking instead.
