Scheme description
The Oldfield Road Corridor scheme will create safe and direct cycling and walking connections to the University of Salford and the Meadows and Peel Park, as well as new connection to the the Liverpool Street/Middlewood Street cycle corridor (NCN route 55).
These improvements aim to increase the number of cycling and walking journeys in the area, improve connectivity, make the area a nice place to live and work and improve and reduce environmental impacts through sustainable travel.
