Scheme description
Walking and cycling routes along the A6043 Wellington Road / Albion Way corridor It will improve the links between the new developments in the town centre, including the new Council offices, college, train station and new Transport Interchange and reduce the severance impact of through traffic movements on the A6043 Wellington Road / Albion Way corridor. Cycle facilities will be provided to travel along this east – west route as well as improved pedestrian and cycle crossings to access the town centre itself.
Initial consultation on this scheme took place in February 2020.
