Community CycleParking Grants
Grants available for cycle parking provision
We're pleased to announce the launch a new £830k grant programme to support the provision of cycle parking across Greater Manchester.
The programme is funded through the Department for Transport and Active Travel England Capability and Ambition Fund, which will support the principals and aims of Greater Manchester's refreshed active travel mission.
Our last cycle parking grant programme proved extremely popular, with over 1600 new and improved cycle parking spaces funded at key community locations.
Applications close Friday 10 November 2023.
Who can apply
Grants are available up to a maximum of £15,000.
You can apply for the grant if you're based in Greater Manchester and are one of the below:
A small business
A community interest groups and/or organisation
A primary, secondary and/or further education provider
An NHS healthcare provider.
This grant can be used by organisations to install cycle parking that will be available for use by anyone travelling to that location by bicycle, including but not limited to staff, pupils, residents, patients and visitors.
